I'm A Big Boy Now (Sing To The Tune of the Pull Up Commercial)

With Mommy and Splash

With Daddy and Splash

Ready for Bed Time

With My New Friends

So, I'm a big boy. I had a huge, huge weekend! Let me start at the beginning. I had a wonderful time at my Nana and Pop's house this weekend. I stayed up late and got up early. And they think that I'm such an easy baby.....Now they know how my mommy lives. Anyway. After my fun filled night with them, mommy picked me up around noon on Saturday. She said that we had to hurry home because she was going to the movies with her NICU friends, Ms. Amanda and Ms. Courtney. I was very excited because that meant I would get to see them too....Ms. Courtney is my buddy, my first crush. We would cuddle in the NICU late at night when things were slow and Ms. Amanda is mommy's go to woman when she has questions about me. We just love them. So they picked mommy up and went to see "He's Just Not Into You" and they loved it. While they were gone, I got to have man time with my daddy. I just love him. He's really cool. The girls came back with mommy and we hung out and watched "The Dark Knight". They both told me that I looked like a fat, little tick and I told them that growing boys need to eat. They just laughed at me...I'm such a ham. Before the end of the movie, one of mommy's cheerleaders stopped by, Alexis. She's nice but she gets really nervous when she's holding me. Everyone left and we had a nice quiet sushi dinner. I don't know how they eat that stuff but they keep telling me that it's the best food in the world and that I'll be eating it soon but I don't know about that one.
Sunday we all woke up to a beautiful day. Mommy wanted to clean but daddy had a better idea, "Let's go for a ride out to Bombay Hook." I was so excited, I got to get out of the house, bring my dog, and ride in daddy's big truck. Woo Hoo (Man, there goes hanging out with the girls again....I really need to make some male friends.) When we got out to the hook, we took a walk on a few trails, mommy was upset that she forgot the Snugli baby carrier and had to hold me so we couldn't do the mile walk. I had so much fun, I can't wait to do it again.
Now the major excitement happened Sunday night. When we got back from our walk, Nana and Pop called and said that they were coming over with a surprise for me. Now, I love seeing my Nana and Pop but I love seeing them with a surprise for me even more.....don't judge, I'm a kid. Well, they brought me stuff from Babies R Us, it was everything to finish my room! Yeah! My mommy got everything together so I have a changing table and a crib. Mommy was so excited that she made daddy go to Target to get a baby monitor. She said that I was ready to be a big boy and sleep in my own bed tonight. I was a little scared but my lamb came (it's so cool, it plays noise) and my blankie......At 9:00, I told mommy that I was tired and ready to do this. She put me to bed and I slept until 1:30! Can you believe that? I called for her and she came me my midnight snack and back to dream land I went.....I only slept until 4:30 this time but mommy was excited, hey 4:00 is better than 3:30.

Well, it's about that time again, mom will be getting off of work and coming to get me.
Peace Out - Michael
