See....I'm really not that much of a bath person. Don't get me wrong, I love them but I don't take them very much. The NICU nurses told mom to only give me one every couple of weeks, more or less so that it doesn't dry out my baby skin. Having said that, it was bath time last night. Dad was working on his project and mom was bored. I was asleep and she said that I needed to wake up so a bath it was. I kinda stunk too so I needed one and it didn't help that I just spit up all of myself and mom. Mom got her bathing suit on and into the bath we went. I love the water. I look like a naked little frog. I kick my legs and try to get my head under water. I don't know why mom wouldn't let me do that....Doesn't she know that I could breathe under water? I did it for 7.5 months...duh. But, she wouldn't let me and keep saying that I would be able to swim in a really big bath this summer when we hang out at the pool every day. That sounds like so much fun, I really can't wait. Anyway, we hung out in the bath for a little bit, me splashing around and mom just laughing at me. I like mom and me time, it's so much fun. When we got out, I had a little snack bite and went back to sleep. It was almost 7 pm now and mom put me down for bed. I just love my new crib. I did really well, I slept until 10 pm and then midnight. It was all down hill from there. I was up the rest of the night, into mom's bed back to my crib. I just couldn't get happy. I don't know what my problem was but mom wasn't too happy with me. Sometimes I really do feel bad for her. I really do. But it's my world and she just hangs out in it. So needless to say she didn't get much sleep and as she was rushing to get me ready this morning, at the changing table, she took off my diaper and I had left her a nasty one. She was hot. Between the dog, dad, and me, I don't know how she lives without a gas mask? Oh well.....I was so excited about the dirty diaper that I started kicking my arms and legs again....Mom wasn't very fast. You guessed it, my leg went right into the icky ness of it all. I thought that this was great. Mom did not. The car right to mommom and poppop's was fun this morning. I got to listen to mom say over and over again, "Good Boy Splash. We are almost there. Please don't poop in mommy's car." Splash the dog hasn't been feeling very well and we were taking him to mommom and poppop's for them to watch both of us. This way Splash isn't locked in a room all day waiting for an accident to happen. We got there safe and sound but not a minute to soon. Well, I better go. Mom has practice today and my dad is going to pick me up. I get to hang out with him until mom gets home. Then I'm spending the night at my Nana and Pop's house. Nana is taking me to the doctor's tomorrow. I hear that shots are involved and I'm not too happy about this, not too happy at all. I'll see if I can talk her out of it and we can go get some ice cream.
Peace Out! Michael
