My Future Wife

So.....Mommy's Best Friend From High School, Aunt Jen had a little girl 6 months to the day after Mommy had me....I spoke about her in an earlier post, I called that MC Morris, Wicka Wicka since her name is Maura Christine Morris....Anyway, Mommy took me to see her and Aunt Jen today for a playdate. I had so much fun. I can't believe that I'm so much bigger than another baby. Mommy and Aunt Jen put us on the play mat together. We had so much fun. I was moving and Maura wanted to be just like me.....It was cool, you know since I'm the older man and all. We even held hands at a couple of spots but Mommy and Aunt Jen weren't quick enough with the cameras.....Things were going great until Uncle John came home and had to have a man to man talk about me hanging out with his daughter when he wasn't home. Mommy and Aunt Jen just laughted at him. Mommy said that she is going to call Maura DIL meaning Daughter in Law....Aunt Jen said not going to happen and Mommy told her it was either DIL or MC Morris Wicka Wicka.....What am I going to do with her? I can't take her anywhere......

So Sorry

I'm so sorry that I haven't written in so long. It has been crazy around our house. Mommy is finishing the school year which means I will be spending more time with my mom. I'm still going to go spend time with my mommom and poppop just so I don't forget and it's easier for mom when she goes back to work next year.
Here are some pictures of my first pool trip with mom and dad last week. I loved the water.....I guess I'm a water baby just like my mom. Doesn't the pools look nice?

Family Fun

So last weekend I got to hang out with my family while Daddy was in Missouri....Here I am with Pop at dinner on Sunday. I had a lot of fun. It was so hot out that Mommy only dressed me in a oneies with no socks! No socks!!! I was so happy...I hate socks, I hate them.This is my Uncle Jeremy, Mommy, and Uncle Josh at Matt and Mandy's wedding yesterday. I hope I grow up to be big and tall like my uncles.....Can you tell who I look like?

TV Time

OK...So I love TV. I just love it so so much. I'm holding my remote ready to go. I just want it to be on all the time. Aren't I cute? I'm sorry that I'm not writing as much as normal. Mom really loves this Facebook thing and I'm having such a hard time getting to use the computer. Mom has a problem. She really does. Life here has been quiet. Not too much to report.

Sunglasses Are Cool.

So...Mom loves sunglasses. Like really loves sunglasses. She has spoiled her self since she started lifeguarding and only gets the nice ones from the eye doctor. Well, that means that I have to have eye protection too. This is me in my cool new shades. Don't you love them? And no shoes!
I was hanging out at my GM (godmother)'s house and her little cousins were there....This is their bouncer....I'm having a blast...My feet didn't even touch the ground. I wanted to put that picture on but the stupid computer wouldn't let me flip it so you didn't have to turn your head to look at it.

It was so cool! I'm heading to the beach tomorrow with my mom and GM. It will be my first beach trip...I'll take lots of pictures, I promise.

MC Morris Wicka Wicka

This is Maura Christine Morris. She was born this morning at 9:05. She was 7.03 lbs and 19.25 inches long. She has a full head of black hair and beautiful fingers. She is so pretty.This is Maura and her mommy, Aunt Jen. Aunt Jen is one of mommy's very best friends, they have been BFFs since high school.

This is me this morning. I was chilling in my carseat with all my fun fun toys. I can't wait to see Maura. She my mom is calling her MC Morris Wicka Wicks (like a DJ). We are 6 months the day apart. Oh yeah, I'm 6 months old today! Look how big I am.......

Sorry!

Sorry I haven't written in a very long time....See, what had happened was.....I had technology problems. I wasn't able to connect using my normal computer, my site had been blocked. So, I had to wait for mom and dad to get their tax money so they could get a lap top. It finally came....Mom was so excited that she was going to have it over spring break. She knew the wifi worked....that was because of me too. See, I didn't feel too well on the Thursday night of the start of Spring Break....Nana and Pop were watching me and they called mom at 10 pm to say that I had a fever over 101! Mom called the hospital and my friend Ms. Amanda....They said to try to hang tight without coming to the ER until the next morning. We had a doctor's appointment at 9 am. When we went in, they took one look at me and sent me to the hospital. I got to spend Easter weekend at my favorite place, the hospital. Mom keeps telling people that I'm going to be doctor, well, I better be. We finally came home and I was feeling better by the middle of the week. My friends Ms. Amanda and Ms. Courtney came over to see me on Tuesday and then mom and I went to see Ms. Amanda on Wednesday. It was nice to see them....I spent the night at Nana and Pop's again this Friday and things went much better. Yesterday, I went to a surprise birthday party for my Aunt Julie...I love her and today we went shopping up to Babies R Us and Robbins Diamonds. I loved spending the day with my mom....It's going to stink tomorrow when she has to go back to work....I loved spending the week with her, I know that she is going to be a little sad so I'm going to have to be strong for her. Oh, in family news, mom had become addicted to facebook.....I don't know what that is but she loves it and it's hard for me to get computer time to update this...Maybe we can do paper, rock, scissors for it tomorrow. I promise that I'm update daily again......

Baptism

So, I had this baptism thing on Sunday. It was really nice. I got to go to church in my cool white outfit and hang out with my cousin Max (left) and Spencer (right). They are so cool. We are all going to be in school today. Go Class of 2026! It was a really nice day. After the church service, we went to Spencer's house and got to hang out with a whole bunch of people. It's so much fun hanging out with my family and friends. I can't wait to have more parties like this......Here are a few pictures from the day.

Ready For The Weekend

I'm so ready for the weekend.....it's been one long week from not sleeping too much to being busy. I slept a little better for mom last night but still not all night....I hope I get the hang of this soon. As you can see, I'm a morning person. Aren't I cute in my dress? Tonight, I'm going to spend the night with Nana and Pop so mom and dad can get some sleep. Tomorrow, I'll get to meet my cousin Jackie and her sons. They are coming all the way down from NY for the baptism on Sunday. I can't wait for all the fun. I'll post on Monday, I'll make sure to have a lot of pictures.

Back To My Old Routine

Well, the whole sleeping through the night thing was just a joke. I felt that since I got so much sleep the night before, I didn't need to do it last night. The night started off the same. I slept with mom in the living room before she woke me up to get a night cap. I ate my bottle and got put in my crib. That was the last time I was down. I wanted to get up at 10:30, 11:30, 12:30, and finally at 1:30, mom brought me into bed with her. I wasn't too happy with that either and around 5 we finally went out for breakfast. Don't get me wrong mom tried to feed me all night but I didn't want any. I don't know how she does all this on no sleep. Today, we have a track meet so mommom and poppop are going to take me home so mom can work it. Tomorrow night, I'm doing my Friday nights with Nana and Pop. I don't know what were are doing on Saturday yet but boy are we going to have fun on Sunday. I can't wait. Well, not too much to write about today. I'll talk to you later......

Only One More Hour

I bet you are wondering what I mean by one more hour.....well, last night was a very good sleep night for me. I tried to do my baby work out with mom but dad wanted to eat and mom is on her Rachel Ray kick so she wanted to make dinner. I got to hang out on my play mat. I'm telling you, that elephant is going to get it one of these days. He makes me so mad, just hanging there, doing nothing. Stupid elephant. He's going to be sorry when I can finally get his trunk in my mouth. But, I digress....I feel asleep on my mat until the Schwan's man came and then mom had to look through the book and hold me. It wasn't an easy thing to do but I didn't want to be anywhere else. When she finally put me down on the sofa, I went to sleep. She had to wake me up at 9:30 to eat and boy did I eat. I didn't wake up, I was so tired. She put me to bed and then next thing you know........It was 4:30! 4:30 in the morning!!!!!! Mom was so excited, she stayed up with me. I didn't even cry this morning. I just woke up and started playing in my crib and mom came in. Isn't that cool? I hope I can do it again but you know me.....

I was out cold! Well, I have some work to get done before mommom and poppop run down to Dover. I'll talk to you tomorrow.....

It's Party Time

Hello Everyone! I hope that you had a wonderful weekend! I know that I sure did. On Friday night I got to spend time with the night with my Nana and Pop. It was a lot of fun. I rule that house, I have both of them wrapped around my little finger. On Saturday morning, mom came to pick me up so that I could have pictures taken with my cousins Max and Spencer for this coming Sunday. I must say, the camera loves me. I was just smiling and having a good old time. When we left, we had to hurry home because mom had dad's truck key and she had to clean for her cheer slumber party. To her surprise, dad had already cleaned the house. She was so happy. The party was really fun. I just love the girls. They watched movies and talked. I feel asleep in mom's arms. At that point, I turned into a momma's boy. Whenever she would put me down, I was scream. I got my way, I slept with mom all night long. On Sunday, after all the girls left, we just had a easy day around the house. I was still all about mom. I let her put me to sleep in my crib but I woke her up every 1.5 to 2 hours to make sure that she was still there. Poor mom. Today my cousin Brittany is coming over for dinner, that should be a lot of fun.

Mr. Burns

So, let me explain the post title. Anyone that knows my mom, knows that she loves the tv show The Simpsons. Well, my new trick is to hold my hands up in front of me and rub them together. She says that it reminds her of the Mr. Burns character from the show. Every time she sees me doing, she'll yell out to dad, "Look baby Burns is doing his EXCELLENT hands again." Dad doesn't think it's as funny as mom does. She thinks she is so funny, really she's not. Last night was the same as before, I played, had some formula, went to sleep, woke up 952 times. Same old same old. I though that I would share some pictures with you today......

This was me this morning. No matter how late we are running, mom can't help but stop for a picture. She really loves this hat, I wear it all the time. Do you notice I'm holding my monkey blanket? I have to have it in the carseat and that my feet have no socks? Mom put them on me and before she could reach over to get my blanket, I had them off. I don't like them and I'm not going to wear them and that's it. I like my toes to be free. Mom's the same way, she's been wearing flip flops since February. I told you she's nuts.

I'm just so cute......I'm wearing my lime green star outfit. I look like I should be doing karate or something. Mom just kept singing, "Everyone was kung fu fighting...." She made it look like I was kicking and stuff. I thought that was so funny.

So, I hear about this rolling over thing and I really want to do it. I got some time alone on my play pad and keep trying to do it.....It didn't work but I'm getting close. I just know it.

I wanted to show you my cool shirt that I got from a nurse in the NICU. It says "Sleep is for the WEAK" and that is so so true. All of you whining about not getting sleep. Nerds, nerds I say. Well, I'm going to stay at Nana and Pop's tonight then off to get my picture taken tomorrow for my baptism. And then on Saturday, all my girls friends will be coming over....oh yeah!
